Soooo….
We’ve been invited to participate in this year’s LA Fashion Night Out at the Fred Segal Melrose center, in the Ron Herman boutique, presented by Vogue.
In other words, we’re the kids in shorts and sandals being asked to eat at the White House.
In conjunction with NY Fashion Night Out (which is basically becoming a national holiday out there) Clandestine Industries will join lines like J Brand, L’Agence, Oliver Peoples, Quicksilver Limited Edition, Monrow, Paige Denim, Maison Margiela and Rory Beca, in the LA version of this all-out fashion event. Not only will it be an opportunity to buy exclusive clothing from these brands (and others), but all night long, crazy events will take place.
For example, stylists Julie Weiss and Eric Archibald will offer one-on-one styling consultations, J Brand co-founders will give out gifts to all customers, Beats By Dre will display a brand new artist headphone (!!!) and Mark The Cobra Snake will be taking pictures of ya’ll. Not to mention Mark Hoppus wife Skye selling her kids line, “Childish,” Ella Moss designers meeting and greeting, the Cool Haus Ice Cream truck in the parking lot and over 20 other deals like this taking place in one night - it’s a SERIOUS F’N EVENT. We’re out of our league and loving it.
So, if you are in LA September 10th, what does coming to this event mean to you, the Clandestine fan? Here we go:
1. A majority of The Teachers Dirty Looks Collection will be available for the first time that night, 4 days before it hits online. And yes, THAT shirt will be available there.
2. We will debut the one-of-a-kind Fall Out Toy Works jacket from Clandestine available later in the year.
3. Pete Wentz will play board game “Guess Who?” for one hour.
Not joking. Cause this will make us seem more adult in the event (sarcasm). Listen, he can’t play EVERYONE, BUT he’ll square off against people who spend at our booth. As many as we can fit in an hour. We’ll hand out tickets, tell you what time, etc. all later. But for now, just circle your calendar and start figuring out the best questions to win at “Guess Who?” cause Pete is a MONSTER at it. And we all know “Does your person have a hair?” is a good question, so think of another one and be creative.
So, join us at the Ron Herman store (in the Fred Segal center on Melrose) on Sept. 10th, pick up the new collection (and some of the past collections) before anyone else and hang out. Not sure when playing “Guess Who?” against Pete Wentz will happen again. OK, it won’t.
