Clandestine homie Murs has one of my favorite viral hip-hop videos ever, as he’s what you call a victim of hip-hop battle shrapnel. During 50 Cent and Rick Ross’s recent beef, in one of the weirdest moves EVER, Rick Ross used one of Murs’s beats to attack 50 Cent, which is funny if you realize how different Ross and Murs’s lyrical messages are. Either way, Ross does admit he doesn’t even know who this Murs guys is to start the diss record, and that’s even more of a shame than putting a half-assed fake rap battle to sell records. But nonetheless, Murs repays the favor and jacks a beat from Officer Ross. Touche.
